Duct heaters are designed to heat fresh air supplied through the ventilation system. The device is an integral part of the system and is not intended for independent operation.
The heater is designed for long continuous operation without being disconnected from the mains.
The supplied air must not contain flammable or explosive mixtures, chemical vapours, sticky substances, fibrous materials, coarse dust, soot or oil particle, as well as environments that contribute to the formation of hazardous substances (toxins, dust, pathogenic microorganisms).
The device is intended for indoor use at ambient temperature from -30 °C to +50 °C and relative humidity up to 80 %.
The heater is classified as a Class I electrical appliance. The level of protection against ingress of dangerous parts and water ingress corresponds to IP40.
The design of the heater is constantly being improved, so some models may differ slightly from the ones shown in this document.

A PTC heater is an advanced electric heating device that uses Positive Temperature Coefficient ceramic materials. These materials increase in electrical resistance as they heat up, allowing the heater to self-regulate its temperature. This makes PTC heaters inherently safe, energy-efficient, and maintenance-free.
